Goathland is a small village
in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors and has been used as a
location for the ITV series, "Heartbeat". The village has a
Post Office, general store, craft and souvenir shops, cafes and a railway
station.
Several hotels have a full licence and offer lunches, evening meals and bar
snacks. There are lots of public footpaths around the village and moors.
